I Have To Remind Myself That There Is No Secret Formula For YouTube

I know if you go on YouTube you find gurus all over the place. They all have a system, a rule, a technique, or an ebook, that will lead you on the path to success. But, who is right? Who should you listen to?

Sometimes, even the "reviews" for these rascals are "sus-spect". I'm dealing with 4 1/2 star rated company right now, and I'll be the first to tell you, I wish I had never met these people before in my life! And, I hope after our business is done, I hope I never have to see'em again!

But, let me stop ranting about my problems...

One thing I have realized about every event, situation, plan, or key to success is this: Almost anything works. No two journeys are completely the same. Just as different paths will lead to the same destination. But, your plan and strategy must work for your path.

Look around on YouTube at some of these "popular" channels. People are talking about anything and doing anything and viewers and subscribers love it!

People are doing reviews. People are doing make-up. People are having contests. People are eating food. People are showing off places they are visiting. People are ranting about a bad shopping experience. And, some people are making videos about some Top 5 or Top 10 list. Some people are telling stories.

You just have to decide what you want to talk about. *WHY DO YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO THE PEOPLE?"

What are you trying to tell them or get them to do? What do you believe? Who are you trying to help? What hobby, subject, activity, or work are you good at and know a lot about? What do you like talking about?

And, just do it in front of a camera. Practice. Practice. Practice. And, just be natural when you have to talk to the people.

You don't have to show your face on video.

You don't have to talk on your video.

You don't have to have a product to sell.

You don't have to have anything educational.

You don't have to be funny.

You don't have to start with any money.

Anything works! But, you must search until you find what works for you.
